KLANG: Today in the High Court here, two Malaysians and a Pakistani were found not guilty of trafficking more than 50kg of drugs in 2018.
Judge Datuk Azmi Abdullah of the Klang High Court released Mohd Azwan Hanafi, 27, P. Thiyagu, 41, and Muhammad Amin, 36, from Pakistan, ruling that the prosecution had not established a prima facie case against them.
The charge sheet states that the three were taken into custody on April 8, 2018, on suspicion of trafficking 50.83 kg of ketamine at two different sites in Klang.
In Jalan Jasa, off Jalan Haji Sirat, the guys were charged with trafficking 25.35 kg of cocaine, then at around 3.30 pm, in No. 5, Jalan Sungai Sama Gagah 18E/KS5, Taman Telok Gedung Indah, another 25.485 kg.
